Andrea Berardi

Andrea is a Vice President at Precision AQ with over 10 years of experience in conducting comprehensive and health economic analyses to inform pharmaceutical decision-making. Andrea developed and performed critical trial data analyses, real‑world and clinical trial data evidence synthesis analyses, cost‑effectiveness and budget impact models, and supported health technology assessment (HTA) submissions to European countries across various different disease areas. Andrea is also an experienced designer and programmer of novel efficiencies for health economic modeling, having designed and developed several web interfaces for economic models, actuarial modeling, and market access tools, using R/Shiny.

 

Andrea graduated with an MSc in Biostatistics and Experimental Statistics with a focus on Bayesian methods and model‑based inference from the University of Milan‑Bicocca. Before joining Precision, Andrea was a Principal Consultant at FAREXEL, and earlier than that was the Health Economics Lead at the Evidence Review Group at NICE/Hull for the British National Health Technology Assessment Group (BMJ‑TARG). Andrea co‑authored a book and an R package on performing Bayesian Cost‑Effectiveness Analysis (BCEA), and a chapter about cutting‑edge applications in the R for Health Technology Assessment book.
