Courtney Patterson, PharmD, MBA, is a residency-trained oncology clinical pharmacist with 15+ years of oncology clinical and leadership experience at Advocate Health, and has joined Precision in 2025 as Vice President of Oncology Clinical Solutions. Her most recent role with Advocate Health was the System Director of Oncology Pharmacy Services for Illinois. She started with Advocate as an oncology clinical pharmacist and during her tenure held a variety of roles: Manager for Chronic Disease management for Advocate Medical Group, Director of Population Health and Managed Care, and Director of Pharmacy for Advocate Medical Group. Through these roles, she was instrumental in developing a drug distribution center, participating in P&T, establishing pharmacy services into medical group practices, and aligning the areas to 340b, USP, QOPI, AAAHC, JACHO, DNV, and other regulatory standards. She has a passion for project management and process improvement and was essential in converting private oncology practices to oncology centers. She participated in clinical guideline development, EMR oncology build review, prior authorization reviews, teaching on the impact of social determinants of health for oncology patients, and collaborating with nurses and providers. Prior to joining Advocate, Courtney completed a Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) residency in general pharmacy practice at Emory University Hospital and a PGY2 residency in oncology pharmacy practice at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She is an adjunct faculty member at the College of DuPage and serves on a national committee for the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA). Courtney is certified in health care strategy and social determinants of health and has expertise in population health, managed care, chronic disease management, and pharmacy regulations. Courtney earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. She also has a Master’s in Business Administration, earned from Loyola University Chicago, specializing in Healthcare Administration.
